Excellent sheep from the dispersal of S & D Ferrie, Carthagena Farm saw Mule ewes carrying twins top the day at £270 with Cheviot ewes out of the Mule not far adrift at £250. Plenty of ringside interest ahead of next week’s special sale as the thriving lamb trade this season and some average scanning results around and about have numerous firms looking to expand and solidify their lambing flocks.
