The whole team at DfAM are proud to share the news that Megan Dowson has been shortlisted for new auctioneer of the year award at the Marts the Heart section of the British Farming Awards hosted by Farmers Guardian 💚 👏
A familiar face to all our customers Megan joined the team in 2022 and has recently reinstated the calf sales. Doing a fantastic job meaning these are now to go fortnightly! She has enjoyed both the time in the rostrum and on-farm building relationships with farmers. Growing up around farms in the local area, Megan knew the importance of auctions. Since joining Darlington in 2022, she has learnt the trade from the bottom up.. Her aim as an auctioneer is to forge, encourage and build on trusting relationships, being a constant in the customer’s life when everything else in the industry can be volatile.
