A miraculous thirty heifers joined five steers the top side of £3000; few can feed them like the Aberdeenshire firm of Messrs WA Fettes, Braes of Enzie and the returns for the flying Scotsmen were testament to their unbelievable travelled run of heifers. The frankly fabulous Fettes females topped at £3435 for an 818kg Charolais, followed at £3423 and £3411 with Limousin’s and £3385 with a 43-month-old British Blue.
