Darlington Farmers Auction Mart held their Spring Collective Sale of Tractors, Implements and Machinery on Saturday 29th April 2023.
A fabulous crowd gathered for what was by far the biggest entry ever witnessed at a DfAM collective sale as just shy of 800 lots from 137 vendors sold to 216 buyers from all corners of the UK with a pleasing 87% clearance rate achieved.
Trade looked brisk throughout with the Spring season bringing much grassland equipment forward not to mention over 30 vehicles which included a three-tractor strong dispersal from J Brown & Sons, Hartlepool. The plethora of farm machinery was accompanied by the customary timber and building materials which all found new homes with ease. A busy day with a great crowd generated a wonderful atmosphere which undoubtedly reassured allcomers that the live auction is well and truly back post-Covid and that there truly is nothing quite like it.
