Darlington Farmers Auction Mart held their Autumn collective sale of tractors, implements and machinery on Saturday 14th October 2023. Forward were 817 lots.
The weather played kind for the Autumn collective sale, a good crowd gathered and a pleasing 85% clearance was achieved as vendors with realistic reserves often found themselves comfortably better off than expected. Below is a list of the top priced items on the day.

This sale was sadly tainted by the well documented theft of two quad bikes on the evening before, thankfully the third quad we had locked in the workshop wasn’t taken and therefore features in the top price list above. The Can-Am quad comes from a manufacturer who has obviously made their product more difficult to steal, perhaps the others could learn a thing or two, or perhaps they prefer to keep selling honest folk new ones.
We are now planning machinery sales for next year after lenghty discussions, for now at least, we will not let the dishonest few ruin these sales for the honest majority. The next sale will be held on Saturday 17th February 2024.
