On behalf of the Directors of Darlington Farmers Auction Mart I would like to formally inform our loyal customers and followers of the sad News that Mr Scott Ferrie FIA (SCOT) FLAA will be leaving DfAM for pastures new in July. We would like to take this opportunity that thank Scott for his loyalty and hard work which has undoubtedly contributed to the company’s growth and the position it is in today, through his rise from second Auctioneer to Senior Auctioneer and Managing Director over his 10 years of employment at DfAM. He leaves the company behind in very good shape and still on the rise, run by a very capable and well-established team. Business will continue as normal even after the very loud noise of a Scottish accent can no longer be heard.
Although we are sad to see Scott go, we understand and are fully supportive of Scott’s decision to take his family back to Scotland, we wish them all the very best in their new chapter in life north of the border. We would also like to extend our best wishes and good luck to all at Lawrie & Symington – Lanark Mart, on taking on a gem who will always be welcome through our doors.
Kind regards
Mark Dent
DfAM Chairman
