Darlington Farmers Auction Mart held their Summer Collective Sale of Tractors, Implements and Machinery on Saturday 15th July 2023.
Weather from all four seasons fell upon a bumper crowd on our perhaps wrongly named ‘summer’ machinery sale day. A DfAM record 918 lots went under the hammer achieving an 83% clearance rate, the auctioneers found that trade was decidedly brisker whence the sun shone than it was during the frequent rain, thunder and hail showers; only the hardiest of prospective purchasers braved the worst of the weather.
As the Darlington machinery depot continues to expand an excellent 157 vendors sold to 205 buyers from far and wide including Ireland to the West and Aberdeenshire to the North.
