Breeding Rams – Tup trade proved strong, power and shape seeming to be at the top of everyone’s shopping list, these boys go on to ultimately produce fat lambs and no question in that job at this moment in time when they stop weighing, they stop paying. Andrew and Colin Whitfield, High Castledene are the in-form tup team this year and they enjoyed another fine trade with their excellent ¾ Texel ¼ Beltex shearlings today. A top price of 1000 Guineas with a very healthy pen average of £750 for seven sold.
