A massive ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone who supported the fundraising efforts of Jennifer Brougham for the charity, Cancer Research, with the customers, staff & buyers of DFAM once again going that extra mile for a good cause. A Hereford Heifer kindly donated by Deerness Valley Dairy; Tow Law sold for a fantastic £1240. Another 2 incredibly generous farmers P Turnbull, West House Farm Kildale & JR&LJ Chapman, High Alderheads, Rowley upon hearing about the efforts to raise money very kindly made a donation of a Pure Texel Ewe & a store lamb to be auctioned with all proceeds going to Cancer Research. The Texel Ewe donated by P Turnbull was purchased by DFAM for £200 and was then put up for resale where it was bought by Yorkshire Gardens of Peace for £200 and again it was resold this time for £105 to Yorkshire Halal Meat Suppliers. The store lamb donated by Mr Chapman raised £90 thanks to the generosity of GC&JC Pullen. A collection bucket on the day organised by Jennifer Brougham was also supported very well with many people digging deep for a great cause.
